Cycles 4D, 12 Month Maintenance extension FREE to ALL Users

Here at INSYDIUM we endeavour to provide the best products, service and support. Moreover, in the interest of transparency, we wanted to let our Cycles 4D users know about a dramatic and unfortunate event, which has meant our Cycles 4D Development and updates have had a long pause.

Cycles 4D development delay

Unfortunately, our main Cycles 4D developer became seriously ill this year and has only recently recovered. So, we have extended the maintenance of all Cycles 4D licenses by 12 months as an apology for this delay. This will ensure all Cycles 4D users get the Early Access builds and Release build they deserve.

R20 Compatible Cycles 4D – Early Access Release by the end of 2018

The next R20 compatible Cycles 4D update will be available in Early Access by the end of this year, Public Release will follow on in early 2019. MAXON has made Cinema 4D R20 a genuinely fantastic release, with massive changes and improvements to the Cinema 4D Core. As a result of these changes, all third-party developers such as INSYDIUM, have had to adapt their plug-ins.

Bridge Plugin

We came up with a novel solution that we want to share with the Cinema 4D community. We have created a Bridge plugin for Cinema 4D R20 that can load plugins from R14 to R19 and enable them to work in R20. Our focus has been on supporting Cycles 4D and X-Particles through this Bridge. This can only go as far as bridging the API itself. Where Cinema 4D R20 has changed in functionality, older plugins may not work.
